Wirral actor Christopher Lee-Power is set for an exciting year in theatre and film, with a schedule packed with major projects. From starring in two upcoming sci-fi films to reprising his role as Doctor Langford in the much-anticipated sequel Halloween 2: The Death of Michael Myers, this promises to be a milestone year for the actor.
On the Banks of the Royal Blue Mersey
Next week, Christopher returns to the stage as the narrator in On the Banks of the Royal Blue Mersey, a comedy-drama chronicling the history of Everton Football Club. Written by Paul Daley and Steve Bird, the play will be performed at The Little Theatre in Birkenhead on Friday, 21 March. The last run of the production was a resounding success, playing to full houses and receiving standing ovations. “Last time, we had an incredible atmosphere in the theatre. It’s such a joy to be part of this production again,” Christopher says.
The production features a talented cast, including Roxanne Male, Francis Brack, Jordan Spratt, Ted Grant, Tommy Tyler Morgan, and Christopher Lee-Power himself. Directed by Lee Clotworthy, the show is expected to be another sell-out success. Tickets are now on sale via the Like-Minded Productions website.
Science-fiction films are on the horizon as well
On the film front, Christopher is eagerly anticipating the release of two science-fiction projects currently in post-production. In The Last Exodus, he plays the Minister of Defence in a gripping tale of survival, while in Entertaining Angels, he takes on the role of Captain Lucius J. Cartier, commanding the USS Miranda. Both films are expected to hit screens later this year.
Perhaps most exciting for fans of Michael Myers, Christopher is set to reprise his role as Doctor Langford in Halloween 2: The Death of Michael Myers, the much-anticipated sequel written by Jake Lund and Morgan Screen. Reflecting on the first film, Christopher describes it as an intense and unforgettable experience, and he is looking forward to stepping back into the chilling world of the franchise.
