Human hands made this request
I’ll have you know I did me best
You may think I’ve just given it a try
Got it wrong using me instead of my
Trouble is you cannot see
I just mimic you using me
There’s the rub with this little rhyme
You can not tell if this is his or if it’s mine!

John Daniels

John Daniels

In spite of approaching octogenarian hood, I like Tony Hancock, am very happy to claim that ‘I’m not to be a man of my age’. Born a Southerner, back there now, but my school years were in Cheshire. A varied career, including teaching. Then early retirement brought me to a quite wonderful ceramics group working with vulnerable adult artists, who would not usually have access to a professional studio. I have been volunteering with them for 21 years. I also write poetry and have a long term and ongoing interest in SEND. Follow John on BlueSky
